Don't be surprised if Subway eventually find out about it and be giant dicks!!

A friend here had a pizza place called Dominos for years and years and years. Ok, exact copy, but it was the name, not the font or any other kind of signage. About 3 or 4 years ago he changed the name to "Peter's" because Domino Pizza got pissy about a little pizza place that was only open 7 months of the year up in a ski resort

Oh yes. We've all been saying that.

When Pen went yesterday, they told her they're changing the logo.

Only been open a week ;)

I do understand the reasoning (especially with the logo being similar - my SDad had the same with a logo that looked like the LR logo when he had a garage that sold Landrovers!). But it is annoying for the little enterprise in a place where the big company just isn't!!

Just had my annual cardio check up.
Did 30 minutes session on treadmill.

Doc smiled and said I was very fit. I told him I average 10 km every day with the dog. He said the results show that :)

The ebay money back guarantee!
Twat that sold me the wrong satnav will shortly be £30 lighter.
Its not the money, its the fact that the customer now has some comeback against these muppets.

On that theme ^^^, my family share a little wooden holiday bungalow on the N coast of Norn Iron. It's obv not used all the time, and our annual elec bill is around £230. We recently received our govt supplied contribution to help with energy costs in these difficult times - £600.

I might buy another.

This little fella gave us a scare in February.
On an acceptable range up to 212, his liver was about 800.
The next test the week after, the results went off the scale 😞

So an intense course of medication and complete change of diet ensued. No more meaty treats from the restaurants in town

Today his liver reading was 198 so within the acceptable limits.
The vet looked very happy and a little surprised.
So we hope Elvis has a few years ahead of him yet

Tenancy agreement signed, deposit and first months rent paid :banana-dance:

2 Months ago my 10 year plus tenant moved out of my BTL flat.

In those 2 months, I've had the builders in. New kitchen, new flooring, painted throughout, new sink and taps in the bathroom along with replacing all the silicone and finding and fixing a leak or two. I also upgraded the sockets to ones with built in USB ports.

As you might expect, I am charging more rent this time! If the new tenant stays for 5 years, the increase in rent will cover the cost of the refit :banana-dance:

She gets the keys today and I arranged for a box of chocolates to be waiting for her when she moves in ;)

Finding 8 prepared rabbits in the freezer. A mate shot them and dropped them at the house where my spawn dealt with them, skinned, gutted washed etc.

All while I was out doing something else.

Kids. Not a fan i must admit. From 1 second old to the age of pissing and shitting for themselves i am less than keen. However the step Daughter announced she is pregnant two month ago. She was just about to start IVF as well as it was all planned. Tonight the Step son phoned and he got his partner up the duff as well. FFS Christmas just got expensive

Really really insignificant (to everyone else!!  ) -

Today I wore a jumper that I've not worn in about 10 years!!! And, (underneath cos it was darned cold this morning!), I have a t-shirt that I bought around 3 years ago but was never quite small enough to wear!! :D :D

In fact -

:bblonde: :bblonde: :bblonde:

I know I've lost about 8kgs from my heaviest (back at the most miserable shoulder time) and recently I've lost three of those - in the last 8 months.

Tis awesome what lack of pain after walking can do for a person :D :D

So
