Walked two of the dogs for 9 miles, older dog is now dozing on the sofa, I have blisters and the 18 month old is now tearing round the house winding up our 3rd dog and doesn’t appear to be at all tired.

Funny thing is I don't use my car much, but I've really needed it since it broke!
Whats the error code?

I broke my 330i several times and fixed it with a cable off ebay and some hooky software. The biggest problem I was was with the hydro pump, but I bodged that to get the lights off and sold the car.

5 days - almost a holiday!
That's a fun course because there isn't really any theory, just stuff to memorise like buoys, rules of the road, colregs, etc.
Yep, I'm OK with the more techy stuff however my missus, despite being an accomplished sailor, has the attention span of a goldfish.

Apparently very common and everyone said MOFSET or fried DME, normally due to water ingress. Fortunately everywhere is dry as a bone, so hopefully new MOFSETs will cure it? I like teh car, but don't love it and will probably out it in the summer anyway.

BMW models with MSD80 DME software may set the fault codes 30BA or 30BB. These fault codes set when fuel injectors on bank 1 or bank 2 develop circuit faults or an injector MOSFET driver fails.

I ordered a couple of strap pins for my Da's watch, when I received the jiffy bag I thought it was empty. Packaging overkill!

Now this got me thinking about packaging.

My wife's Superdrug order turned up today. Various shampoos and potions, in three small boxes. Seemed a bit silly when they'd all fit in one box, then I thought....

What if the carriers like more/smaller boxes than larger ones, because it allows them to make more efficent use of the van load area?

Or maybe Superdrug have run out of middle sized boxes.

There's a global cardboard shortage at the moment - everyone buying off the web and no imports getting through. A lot of our packaging comes from China apparently!

Had me AZ jab. I have to say, the whole operation was as slick as you like with no hold ups, no waiting and no fannying around at all. In and out in c. 5 mins.

Something has gone seriously amiss with the NHS. ;)

Went to the valley for a French lesson this morning (part of a 30 hour course). Have pushed my luck a bit over the previous courses and last week by parking outside the school and paying for 2.5 hours parking when the course is 3 hours (the next level is a day's parking and very expensive!). I've never been ticketed but today I thought I'd park in the free (this winter) parking supposedly 5 minutes away. After a 20 minute walk, I arrived at the school very pleased it was a dry sunny morning and certain that I'd missed the 'correct' way!! I had. Go up loads of steps and walk on the bridge over the railway and end up a couple of mins from the school  Next time!!

First task of the class - read a 'voiceover' we'd each written about a video we watched in class last week. One of my biggest nightmares is having to read aloud, in English. I can't read properly and so struggle to link the words together (I read paragraphs or sentences as a whole and get the gist. Reading each word is almost impossible for me).....

Trying to do that in French - even bigger nightmare  I did it but it was seriously stressful!!! But hopefully we won't have that kind of homework very often!!

Then drove to a village near Meribel to meet a friend I haven't seen since I was in rehab!! Cue 4 hours of drinking tea and talking 19 to the dozen!!

Awesome day and I even got back before curfew (cos it's now 19:00!!) :D :D

I grew up sailing with my RDad on the south coast. I reckon I could still crew or helm a dinghy or yacht quite happily. Not a hope that I remember anything about the buoys & colregs. The rule of the road that I remember is "power gives way to sail" - however, do NOT pick a fight with a huge ferry or the like as they will not give way!! LOL LOL

Checked my bank statement every hour :(

Supposed to be picking up a new car tomorrow and I need the funds transferred before then obviously.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow morning or I’ll have to ask the dealer to keep it another day.

Ground the toes of my boots going around a roundabout when out on the K1200R. Passed MOT with flying colours and I was just nipping out to Church for the Eucharist. Should remember to stick to toes on the pegs as I do have big feet! Bike feels awesome! Must do more than 500 miles this year. Popped around to visit the people who bought our house and collected some post. They are a nice young couple and are doing decorating already, not that I blame them, it needs some work!! Heading out to fetch the wife a bit later on and will take her shopping for something nice to eat.

I've been interviewing internal candidates for a junior role on my desk. One was born in 1999, two years after I started with my employer. I told him that putting his DOB on the CV was his first black mark in the interview process. :P
