His missus died (aged 90 apparently) but had moved to their Gullane home. I played golf several times at Addington in Croydon (a mate was a member there) and that was his main club - 'cos that's where he lived. Probably had Dot Cotton his neighbour (but I don't think she played golf :lol: ).

Two years ago so say Wikipedia. Well ill not be passing her in the local Co-op then.

Just saw it was 2 years ago today Sinead O'Conner departed this world. A troubled Girl. 🙁
On a lighter note, I went birdwatching with Sinead once. We saw 7 Owls & 15 Jays...
