Yes, shows the less attractive side of human rights laws where an individual is considered more important than the trouble they cause for other people.
Really? Do you think he is escaping justice?
He likely wouldn't have got the death penalty from the court.

Has Brexit squashed our edible insect industry?
Bugs - the superfood that doesn't cost the earth. They're higher in protein than meat and release far lower CO2 emissions than livestock farming.
So experts tell us that, if we want to save the planet, we should eat more insects.
However, selling insects as food in the UK was essentially banned following Brexit, leaving the insect industry in limbo. But could there now be a revival?
Rishi Sunak under fire for claiming he worked to divert money from 'deprived urban areas' when chancellor
Video shows the former chancellor telling grassroots Conservatives [in Tunbridge Wells] he had started changing public funding formulas to ensure more prosperous towns receive "the funding they deserve".

Yeah, Tory party members will be horrified by him diverting it to Tory voting areas.

It could be argued that it shows him as honest. The policy may well go down well with Tory Party members and be slated by others but him speaking up about it . . .
The only electorate he is currently interested in are the approx. 160,000 Conservative party members who will decide who the next party leader (and thereby P.M.) will be. They would probably quite like the sound of that.
Tunbridge Wells has some deprived areas to rival London slums. It's very much like London with very wealthy living close to very poor so seems odd that pupils get a grand a year less spent on their education.

Except that, beyond the headlines, he's absolutely right (and I say that as someone who has never voted Tory). These 'rich Tory shires' hide some of the highest levels of inequality in the UK.
"Levelling up" although does anyone seriously believe that he did it without the knowledge of the rest of his cabinet? Lose a few IQ points if you believe it.

The rest of the country, less so.
... is of course the point (imo).

I wasn't trying to make a point, I was simply providing an alternative view.

Geller isn't very interesting but I'm looking forward to any reaction from the SNP.
Appearing on the 'This Morning' show, Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX revealed that he invested substantial amount of money in a new automated trading platform. The idea was simple: allow the average person the opportunity to cash in on the digital currency boom. Even if they have absolutely no investing or technology experience.
A user would simply make an initial deposit into the platform, usually of £191 or more, and the automated trading algorithm would go to work. Using a combination of data and machine learning, the algorithm would know the perfect time to buy and sell digital assets, maximizing the user's profit. Elon told us that he used his credit card for the initial deposit!
This new trading platform was launched in United States back in September 2018 but as of few days ago it opened up it's doors to British citizens as well.
To demonstrate the power of the platform Elon had Gayle King deposit £191 live on the show.
After her initial deposit for £191 was made, the trading platform went to work buying low and selling high. Within 3 minutes, she had successfully increased her initial funds to £367,72 That's a £177,46 profit.
