Ooh...meeces! (Or bigger). Is that yours TP?
I remember a post on a previous forum where they'd nested in his bike airbox. He started it up, unawares....in the garage. It caught fire and did some serious damage.

Of all the things I didn't expect to see in the Surrey Hills is a field of sunflowers!
Not just sunflowers, there was sweetcorn and all sorts mixed in. It felt like a little bit of France...with an eccentric English twist. I assume it will all get ploughed in as a soil improver?

Was the second pic taken during an earth tremor?

Re: utterly random picture thread.
For some reason the phone decided to take video and I quite liked the slightly waving sunflowers. I did actually do a pan/video but it's a silly file size.
(The phone camera is just bonkers, burst shots, video, optimised by Bixby etc. Lordy be..all I want is to take snaps. If I wanted to go all David Bailey I'd lug a camera around. )

Phones have made me well lazy too, despite the unwanted wideangle distortion sometimes apparent,I've a perfectly good Canon and lenses which lie largely unused.Count Steer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 3:02 pmFor some reason the phone decided to take video and I quite liked the slightly waving sunflowers. Re: utterly random picture thread.
I had all the Olympus kit and got fed up with it. It felt like I was accompanying it on holiday sometimes. However, I am going to dig out my little Sony digital camera which is small, light, fits in a pocket and is pretty good optically.Skub wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 3:06 pmPhones have made me well lazy too, despite the unwanted wideangle distortion sometimes apparent,I've a perfectly good Canon and lenses which lie largely unused.Count Steer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 12, 2022 3:02 pmFor some reason the phone decided to take video and I quite liked the slightly waving sunflowers. My fave bar is next to the best steak house in town. One of the ladies who works there loves Elvis, my Springer Spaniel.
If she sees us sat outside she always gathers scraps and leftovers for him.
But tonight she excelled. Two huge dreams were sent back and she brought them out, still warm. He'd had some treats from another girl so brought them home. Thick, juicy and heavy.
