You when you think - I’ll make the bed later, I’ll do that when we get back from the airport, everyone’s hungry we’ll just nip out for a quick chat with mates and some food??
Yeah, got back just now - still gotta make the sodding bed

Re: A right now thread
Sitting in a telephone queue for doctors appointment at no 56... call back engaged. Last time it took 2 hours and no appointments available, yet again. I don't have enough time to hang around for calls. Taking the woof to the groomers as she is a shaggy beast and needs to be trimmed nicely, usual seven week appointment. Have a lie in (my day off today) and perhaps attend a tea later on if I feel like talking to people (unlikely). Look after daughter.

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Wishing I was done with work for the year. I'm really feeling the need for a proper break, ideally never going back

Same. Do you also get those days when everybody in your close proximity at work seems to be extra fucking annoying? I do, I'm having one now.

Re: A right now thread
Somebody just described themselves as burnt out. I think that sums it up nicely.
Meanwhile I'm about to go into an SLT. This fucking week. FFS. I may go Falling Down.

As someone who took early retirement coming up to 2 years back,Supermarket trucking was peak stress,no holidays & minimum rest from early Dec to mid Jan,I've not missed the place for one minute & can relate to the 'Burnt out' comments.
Today Cal Mac published some of their Summer timetables so I'm starting to plan my tour for a couple of weeks in April/May
