As above (different perspective!)! I met up with M. Sadlonelygit, his better half and their pooch
: But only went biking with SLG!!
I took the pretty way to the meet point and then back the same way - have never done either direction on a bike! Little bit tight for my shoulder but awesome fun and only the second time I've been out riding with another biker since moving here

It’s the Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride today, and what with me being 50 something, grey haired, bearded Triumph Modern Classic rider, it could be assumed that this was right up my street. However group rides, especially organised ones in fancy dress are not what I want out of biking.
Exploring alone, with no target save stopping somewhere for a coffee is my two wheeled therapy and again today was another good session.
Blue skies, empty roads and my little scrambler.

Northamptonshire was the area of interest today with a quick coffee stop at The Old Depot in Weedon Bec.

I wonder what time this bloody place opens? I'm running on fumes and I've been waiting for ages for some 4 star.

I'm sure you're old enough to remember when they had the 2t oil can next to the pumps for the premix boys.Skub wrote: Mon May 20, 2024 5:31 pm I wonder what time this bloody place opens? I'm running on fumes and I've been waiting for ages for some 4 star.![]()

That place would make a great back yard shed (after refurbishment)Skub wrote: Mon May 20, 2024 5:31 pm I wonder what time this bloody place opens? I'm running on fumes and I've been waiting for ages for some 4 star.![]()

Lovely run out this morning, adjusted and lubed the chain last night and the gear change was absolute butter. Felt nice and relaxed and the ride just flowed. Was going to head to Krazy Horse but the forecast said rain that way and as I headed east to Castle Hedingham the temp dropped a fair bit and there was lots of cloud. Didn't look like rain but was distinctly chilly. So, I headed back west to the sun

Today I are mostly patrolling the B roads. When I turn off the bike and sit for a minute, there's only the sound of the birds and the sheep.

Good choice …… the usually sunny East was wetter than an otters pocket all day. No pics as my phone was tucked away in an inside pocket for safety and my gear won’t be dry until tomorrowSupermofo wrote: Sat May 25, 2024 11:44 am Was going to head to Krazy Horse but the forecast said rain that way and as I headed east to Castle Hedingham the temp dropped a fair bit and there was lots of cloud.
