Not a purchase, but a free sample of marmite caramel popcorn.

Tastes exactly as good as you'd expect (true no matter how much you like marmite :D)

He had the hump because I wouldn't buy another one that was frankly stupid money.

They can't deliver it until next weekend.
I hope it's an OLED and not a standard LED one like the proles have?

We want a 75" but can only get HD equality.
Do the big ones upscale properly?
Our 55" Philips is ok, but looks a bit small on the wall.

Meh, arrived quickly but didn't like them. A bit 'fat' for me, i think they'd make nice enough road gloves, but a bit dead feeling for track use.

Is that 'price' of good protection? I recall Dayglo Jim saying something about Halvarssons gloves being thick to meet CE.

I'd not heard of PleH gloves ;)

That's a very good question matey. I've got short Halvarssons and absolutely love them.

My track gloves are Tuzo.

They're comfortable and were Ride magazine recommended, but I worry they may be a bit flimsy, hence wanting something a bit more higher end, but without going daft.

I can't justify £250+ full on race gloves for 1-2 days a year. So sitting here thinking "what now" and don't have the answer

Go on, treat yourself, get some Handroids.

They appear bulky, but you don't notice it. Still plenty of feel through the palms, etc..

I think mine must be the Mk3 as they don't have that yellow bit.

Well, I must be very special as I got given this for our anniversary by the lovely Mrs. G.
https://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/p/564 ... herry-cask

It's very nice. Not your typical smokey, peaty Islay malt, but sweet from the sherry cask, smooth as you like and thick on the tongue. Wouldn't know how to be harsh if it tried. And 1997 was the year we got married, hence the splurge. :)

Also, I was a bit pissed off as two of my Sonos speakers were declared obsolete by the app and instantly turned into expensive paperweights. She come home yesterday with two new Sonos One speakers and big f*ck-off Sonos Five. Chez Gremlin is back to being a party house!*

*Minus the guests at present.

Expecting delivery of a mechanics stethoscope today. Even if I don't find out what the rattle is I am sure to have a fun weekend.

Rattle on start up/low revs. I don't think it's the timing chain as I can hear that too. Booked in with dealer on the 15th, under warranty until February 2021.

Maybe, by using their own stethoscope, the seller might be able to find their missing apostrophe.
