Were they holding Red Cards ?
They looked uniquely Belgian, like the past 50 years hadn't happened, they would have blended in perfectly at a 1970's event.
These two?

+ The Singing Nun and Plastique Bertrand? :D

Can't say I noticed the Belgians looking any different from lots of other Europeans tbh. Don't remember a mass outbreak of flares/loons/wide ties or dodgy haircuts at all.

I've seen David Suchet's willy. :D

I'd like to tell you that his pubes were waxed like that moustache, but I'd be lying.

Sadly, I didn't think of it.

May one enquire as to the circumstances of this sighting? Without further information the board members may make inferences.......... :o

It simply showed the farce that is VAR these days. The foul, was arguably a foul, it simply was.. He not only pulled his shirt (deliberate) but stood on his foot (accidentally), both instances were enough to give the free kick.
But if it's not given there and then, it shouldn't be given.

But it's this stuff that has killed the game as a spectator sport for me. It's just destroyed it. From the hair touch, to offsides by 3mm and goals being called back for something 20s previously... The over-analysis of every single item, every detail, every touch. It's fucked the sport and i quite simply despise watching it now. I keep watching the odd game thinking it can't be as fuck awful as the previous one, but somehow they manage to make it so.

Egypt were not hard done to, not within the rules that the game has now laid out anyway.

One of the very few benefits of the Hammers being relegated is no VAR next season.

F1 went the same way. Appeals about a car being 0.1mm to high and such.
