Ah like that. I passed through a few villages in Switzerland a coupld of years back that was the same. Was desperate for Diesel and some supplies. Even there bloody Lidl's were shut

Everyone's fucked off to the Med for a month. Shops/bars in villages and towns inland are operating on a skeleton staff if they're open. Many are closed.

The Bees are really keen on these sunflowers - as you can see the florets are just starting to open.

It's not a huge sunflower - only about 6" diameter.
Mind you we do have some very large bees about.
