Sold the first position at 3k after it dropped by 300 in 10 minutes, the target was always 1k profit to cover the second position and I'm getting jittery that the trading platforms might put trades on hold with the 'mass buy' scheduled for 2.30pm UK time.

Once the 2k had reached 3k this morning I bought another 1k at a higher price, that's currently worth 1.1k and climbing. I'll probably sell the first position in a couple of hours so if the second bombs I won't have lost anything.
Passes the time on a rainy day :D
Any clues for us thickies?

I was never caught by IR35 but after they made it pretty much compulsory in the private sector the writing was on the wall, so when I got a very attractive PAYE offer a couple of years ago I jumped at it.

Feeling a bit happy - finally sorted all the shoulder medical papers into a manageable file - well, the blood tests and the xrays have their own separate files!! But, that a bit less space they're taking up and a paperwork holder that can go up on the shelf!! LOL :banana-dance:

There's a lot of noise about a No Limits data breach with credit card details being stolen. Oooops.

Digesting a rather nice curry, sitting at work switching things off for people and sending someone to look at something that went bang and smoked a bit earlier which from the sounds of things will generate more work for me a bit later.

Cleared snow off the car in preparation for taking wife to School! Nursery waits for no child. Then will robe a bit later on and collect my Vicar and we take a funeral together at the local crematorium. Two priests for the price of one, or something like that. Take Vicar home after the service, then straight from there to collect my wife and early dinner. I'll be taking Compline service again tonight. Have a good day all.

I work for a global health care provider and once a month we have a department breakfast meeting. In the olden days we got sausage and bacon sandwiches and pastries with it. Since covid our medical director, a doctor has given us an update which has became the only source of information worth listening to as it's given to us in known facts and what we don't knows (the don't knows are generally what the internet talk about). A relief in a world of contradicting bollocks.

I would have liked to listen to today's but they also announced my role becoming permanent and I have been inundated by messages of congratulations so feeling the love right now. I will have to go back and watch the recording to get my covid update.

Wondering if my cat needs to go to the vets for the last time. It's got/had toxoplasmosis and isn't thriving. It's fitting frequently and looking scared most of the time.

Mildly saddening, it's only a cat though.

They are never. " only a cat" . It has been a companion and a friend. And possibly a ratter as well. Of he or she is suffering (toxo woosit affects the mind iirc)as it sounds she is..make it easy for her. You understand whats going on...she doesnt.
I am sure you will do the right thing by her.

No, it's only a cat. Yes I have it for years, not sure how many but longer than 10. It sleeps on me, sits on my chair when if I don't get there first and all that other stuff. It's a he, but castrated and has a preference for voles. It's confused by birds and a couple of times have bought them into the house still alive.

It's still only a cat.

Other people may feel differently about this, but to me it's still only a cat. My opinion does not invalidate anyone else's.
