Premier inn's in South Wales ain't the cheapest. I'm staying in another soon, half the price and like for like dates. What's that all about.

If you take the cheapest, non cancellable option then i thought under 60 quid a night for a weekend room for 2 people wasnt that bad as they charge by the room. Try the same dates in London and you can double or triple that.

Got my room booked for the Friday and Saturday just now on the 28 day option

We're at Silverstone on the Thursday too, plus Fri on track and Sat and track.... along with the fact we only arrive back from France on the Wed... it's going to be the most expensive month on the planet

Gentle people, for various reasons I'm unlikely to be able to make it to the RRTL knees-up this year and have bought and paid for a slot in the Inters on Saturday. Rather than keep it and risk wasting what is a fairly rare and popular slot I've decided to offer it for resale at the original price. Alan has confirmed he's happy to just change the rider name so I thought I'd offer it on here first. If no takers then in July I'll offer it round other TD forums. I'll aim to check in here at least once a week. Cheers!

As discussed, our places are already allocated by Alan to us, so this is really only for anyone who needs a space and hasn't previously added themsleves to the list and also only in the Inters group.

What do I need for this trackday - other than a bike and accommodation which I have?

I've got a leathers issue at the moment (I have none). I have a two piece that was buggered up by a repairers - they still have them and I'm not confident it will be track acceptable when I get them back...if I get them back. I bought an Alpinestars once piece from FC Moto which is too small (ooops ). So I'm £800 down with no leathers at the present time.

What are the requirements for leathers?

I'll need a brake lever guard?

My July is pretty booked up with a couple of trips so I feel that I should be getting organised around about now

Assuming you have gloves, boots and helmet, then yes, your requirements are as you've listed above.

Leathers can either be 1 or 2 piece, but if 2 piece MUST have a full zip around the middle, in reality it's not quite full, but its not far off.
Brake guard is required yes, they range from £13 to £150 on Ebay. I've got R&G ones which were about £40 on both ours.

Might be an idea now to reach out amongst bike friends locally for a 1 or 2 piece set you can borrow for the weekend
