I rode the bike to London and back today and to start with I was thinking i'd wasted my money on the shock! Reason is the front is so harsh, the jolt through the bars stops you getting the chance to feel what the back end is doing! However, once I got to the white line markings for speed cameras and cats eyes etc, I knew straight away it was much better than the oem one as you barely feel them. So hopefully that's a win?!
When riding it today it occurred to me that I hadn't fitted the handguards? That would be becuase my wife had tidied them away, so I'd forgottten about them! Got them in front of me now and will hopefully fit them tomorrow.
Got pissed off with waiting for Parcelforce's letter for my custom charges so I rang them. Nice lady confirmed it was sent out ages ago and had no idea why i hadn't received it, but furnished me with the needed 17 digit ref number and I went online and paid it and the exhaust bracket should be here tomorrow? Might even get the Fakerapovic on tomrrow!
exchanges I left it. Wonder if I can take the forks out with the mudguard attached...
I've never had this before. I've undone rounded off disc bolts with less problems! This has had the exposed threads cleaned up and lashings of plus gas and i've now tried drifting it round with a chisel, but it ain't budging at all?!?! I slipped and gouged the mudguard a bit anyway
