I swore I'd never do it again and I plan on keeping that promise.
I'm tempted to go and get the sh300 I can have, and leave the At until spring! :D

If I'm really lucky, I can break the bead and just pull the tube the part of teh tube out that needs apatch then put it back again. I do have a spare tube here though if that doesnt work. Bastard hard work gettibg that tyre over the bead but no bike shops round here and car tyre places wont touch them, so its my job whether I like it or not.
It's a cvnt of a job with modern day stiffer sidewalled tyres.
I can fit big tyres to the GSXR no problem. Just a knack.

Enduro tyres are designed to run as low as 5 psi and tyre walls are super stiff.

My pal has all the gear so take beer to his place :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I'd just take it to FWR on Monday and say "lads, fix that"

Job done, effortless.

I've not fitted the centre stand yet, but it is literally a 2 second job to slide it into place and use it for maintenance. I might not even bother permanently fitting it!

Aas I'm doing stuff on the bike it occured to me I havent heard back fromHonda about my warranty claim. So i searched for the email to te locak dealer and found it and started to write to them for an update, mainly as i'm panicking. as the TFT screen is c£3k! Anyway, as i'm writing the email they ring me to get it booked in! Spooky! Anyway, phew, Honda are covering it. I'm getting them to fit the centre stand whilst they have it..

Yeah, he does well. TBH I wouldn't say its to Weeksy levels, but for what it cost (£90) and then he applies a mixture of ACF50 and XCP it looks a hell of a lot better than I'd ever get it and its now protected fro winter to boot!

Well no, just looking at the lower dogbone and linkage tells me that, but you’re right that for the price it looks a good job.

£90 is a cheap/quick wash now? How much to do it right then?

No, he does a full, thorough valet, and then applies the rust protection. He was hear about 5 hours!± Mind you he had a lot of work to do! It cost more if you want the bike detailed. Sadly I think I was his last job and he'll retire now?

The Adv Sport model does have them and a smaller front wheel. But it has a bigger tank and was even heavier so I went for this one. I think the wheels are interchangeable but the price of them second hand is the price of many, many inner tubes. Still a teeny bit tempted though...

Tyre dropped 2 psi over night. Some of that would have been me letting air out when I released the airline from the valve! Anyway, i'll take that as a win!

It’s actually the opposite way round. Valves lose when you connect, not when you remove 😄
