That's the only sensible option because that's also a hand grenade waiting to go bang.

They never put a lot of info about anything on that site? I've added what little there is. Irks me a bit when comp sites don't show the reg plate so you can at least look at mot history etc.IccyV2 wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 10:47 amTaipan wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 7:48 am High ticket price, but very good odds for a comp! No details for the car?
The early 991 GT3 had chocolate engines that cost Porsche a lot of replacements, but they didn't replace them all, just extended the warranty period and that's probably run out now, so if that's one of the fragile ones with low mileage then you could be looking at a £70k rebuild if it goes.

I don't know anything about them, but it sounds like I'd best go for the cash option should I win !IccyV2 wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 10:48 amThat's the only sensible option because that's also a hand grenade waiting to go bang.
That's all soft landings. I chuck mine down rocky, hard stuff

Missed that but I would have had a punt on it, the challenge cars, the 430 Scud 16m, the 458 Speciale and the 488 Pista are all the special edition of the various models and they're usually a lot more raw and fantastic to drive than the standard car.Taipan wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2026 2:49 pm

Hadnt really noticed, but tbh,I don't do many comps lately, only if I get bored at work then I go looking. I thought RevComps were up there with Elite, 7Day and Dream cars, so I'd be surprised f they were struggling? I know they get a lot of stick for a disproportionate amount of local winners, but I think that's more people not understanding how popular and well known they are in their neck of the woods.IccyV2 wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 10:24 am Rev comps seem to be not doing so many cars anymore, I wonder if they were struggling.
