Litmus test will be tomorrows commute but the pegs felt a lot lower! Really hopeful that this will be the adjustment I need. That and the handlebar vibration are about the only gripes I have with the bike and I get numb fingers on most bikes, with the notable exceptions of the Ducati and Harley!
I was going to wash it today but we’ve got rain next week do I can’t be bothered’! I like it that’s it’s a bit older and I don’t have to worry. I got fed up with keep cleaning the Ducati!
The lowered pegs felt a lot more comfortable and i wasn't wincing with pain when I changed gear at all and never needed to extend my leg out to ease the discomfort I'm normally in after about 30 minutes of riding. The downside is I have to lift my foot to use the rear brake as it's just too high to reach normally. I use the back brake as much as the front so this is annoying. I may be able to lower it more if i remove the locknut on the adjuster? Or I maybe able to get my Nephew to cut it about and weld it in place a bit lower, assuming it's made of a material that can be welded? ISTR you can get kits for this as well, so i'll have google at lunchtime. It'd be nice to get it sorted.

Thumb brake!
Get it now before you want rid of the bike next week.
