A spring punch will do the job. No bigger than a biro.

Bought another centre stand, but a Honda OEM one this time. The other Turkish POS was little more than a poorly made swearbox. Lesson leaned.

Still waiting to hear back from Honda's warranty people abut my TFT dashboard...

Just got the tax reminder through which means I've had the bike 6 months now! 8-) To celebrate this fact I've booked her in for a valet and ACF50 treatment.

I've acf50d my bikes this weekend, when the Benelli gets its next startup, it'll look like bonfire night again. 😁

Well it did slow down pressure loss but didn't stop it. Checked them a couple of days ago and front was 29 from 33 and back 28 from 36. That's taken about 4-6 weeks whereas before I guess I was topping them up fortnightly?

On the plus side it turns out I have a puncture and it did work enough to get me home yesterday. I didn't even realise until the bike valeter said its got green shite all over the mudguard etc. D'oh! That is one horrible job I have to do this weekend. I hate tubed tyres!

I had that with SLIME once. You've probably got a small sliver of something caught in the puncture hole that is re-opening the leak every time you ride. That's exactly what happened to me - the sliver of metal had buried itself in the rubber and ws only just sticking out into the inner carcass, but the action of the rubber moving around kept the hole open and the SLIME couldn't create a permanent seal.

I saw a new puncture bung thing on Instagram this week which was like a fat screw thread rubber thing, you drill and then screw it in, seems pretty decent.

I thinKi've found the puncture hole. If I'm really lucky, I can break the bead and just pull the tube the part of teh tube out that needs apatch then put it back again. I do have a spare tube here though if that doesnt work. Bastard hard work gettibg that tyre over the bead but no bike shops round here and car tyre places wont touch them, so its my job whether I like it or not.

Isnt it just. Second bastard puncture i've had on this wheel too! I suppose the tyre might be easier this time as its been stretched over the wheel rim twice now?
