I can never work out why angle grinders don't have a switch which turns off when you let go.

I never use angle grinders, chain saws or anything like that BTW. Know your limits :lol:

My angle grinder does as did the one before. You have to slide the button up to work it then up and push in to lock on. Last one was push the on slider button and had another to slide sideways to lock it on.

The compressor powered ones do - you're right, none of the electric ones I've had do/did.
