Just before this total lock down, some weeks ago I was at an auction and I bought a few old valve radios

It does work, but is a little quiet, so it will be a restoration project. It's a lovely Ekco valve radio.

Yep, they're really good. Ikea has closed until this virus issue has passed.Brommo wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 7:44 pmdidn`t realise I needed one of these till I saw this ! Good price as well. Alcoholic supplies, I reckon things are going to get a smidge tighter in a week or so, and it never hurts to have a stockpile.

Those triple layer kitchen towel things. I managed to get the road dust off the rear wheel and clean up the oily chain. Strong stuff it is and works a real treat! Was one of those £2 for three rolls specials in Morrisons at the time and I only used one sheet! I am impressed! Chain is shiny again and nicely lubed up.

I cook a lot with rice. For about a month now I've not been able to get any rice, so when I saw this, I HAD to have it.

Re: The Official Pleasing Purchase Thread
There’s a lovely man up in Leeds who has been making me a bespoke oak and stainless steel table. Poor bloke has had to do it again because sadly dear ParcelForce delivered the first one in bits having thrown it off the top of a cliff! So much hard work destroyed. It was criminal. Anyway there’s a new one on its way again so here’s hoping it’ll arrive in one piece this time!
