I know it is marginal, but I am happy to gain a few % on stuff like that.

Ahh, the triangle of light!

If you want some white daytime lights, I have two Hella sets to get rid of, 1 pair round and 1 pair straight. Come with some cables, but no fittings, switches, etc.

Almost free. No charge, but a donation to cover lights, P&P, to the charity I volunteer with.

Similar to these:

You'll need to make your own mountings, etc.

Saw a GS the other day, 2 big bright yellow spot lights making the triangle. If you couldn't see that coming, your looking the wrong way. Best I've seen.

Most OTT one I have seen was also a GS. Headlight, 2 BIG aftermarket lights with several ( 4? ) sources in each, 2 smaller spot lights low down, and 2 marker lights on the mirrors.

The worst I've seen was a GS (I only found that out after it passed me), with the OE two lights (full beam not on), and no less than 3 separate pairs of "driving" lights, all aimed directly at my rear-view mirror (I was in the car). My mirror was competely awash with light, it was worse than low winter sunlight. Even though it was an overcast, but bright, day the glare was blinding and after glancing in the mirror my eyes were "washed out" and I had to blink rapidly just to be able to see again. I had no clue at all where he was (ie distance behind me), and so it was a complete shock when he came past (no less so because it was a 30 zone on a narrow road with oncoming traffic - so I wasn't expecting an overtake at all).
