3rd and 4th is the next 2 big days, Road Race.

The track cycles were >50% stiffer than a normal TT frame. The experts from Cervélo told us they'd never in a million years make one like that for the public. Similarly the top tubes were pretty strange dimensions, no normal rider would like it.

I had to take my (collared button up) shirt off to actually reach the bars, leaning over that far felt like I was gonna rip it

I have no interest in road or dirt cycling. But I will watch some of the track events as they're explosive and fun.

That’s a great analogy.

For the uninitiated:

• GeraintThomas is a double Olympic gold medalist, and he became the first Welshman and only the third British person to win the Tour de France.

• Tom Pidcock is a double Olympic gold medalist and Tour de France stage winner. He should be in contention for another Olympic medal in the road race.
