check the thickness of the disks, are they near or below the Min? maybe they just need a really good bleed and different pads. I really like the Galfer Purple pads, they work really well for me.
The bike has doen about 1000kms so doubtful but they are the std SRAM discs that came with the bike - and the braking surface is much smaller than I expected
