Thanks for that. Interestingly that article mentions that only gauntlet style gloves can get the level 2 rating. But a quick check and Oxford make a short version of their level 2 glove and it's also level 2. Not the shortest granted but not full length.

Finally bought a pair of gloves!

Had them in stock at Bike Stop Stevenage so popped in lunchtime and they fitted great.
