Didn't they have something daft like 400 towers at one point? The engineering standards on display probably reveal why there are only 2 now.

Nuff said.
*I broke a Ducati key in St. Jimmy's. That was a bloody expensive mis-hap.

Well, eventually got out of the camp site (long story, but it sums up Italy) and we drove past the factory where they make the big red noisy things, loads of them just sitting outside in the rain.

Once I've cropped the photos, I'll post a couple up!
Heading north now towards Turin, biblical rainstorms happening. Only issue is below 30mph the screen mists up. Swmbo is on karcher duties!

Well it's the wrong colour for a Nissan Figaro...
Is it a FIAT?
Ps. I'm in Turin next month, taking in Lake Orta and Novara. Only a five-day visit. Glad to hear the rain is getting done and dusted now, rather than when I'm there.

Dino's were either a 2.0 or 2.4 V6, so 206 or 246, it'll be one of those. I was offered one a long time ago when they were cheap and not highly regarded.Sadlonelygit wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 6:52 pmA little more specific please

It's from before my time, but I've never really got the love for the Daytona, looks like an SD1 to me

As it was in production 8 or so years before the Rover, one might say they stole a few styling hints for the SD1

Re: Coming to the end of our Italian adventure
Well we're crawling across France ATM, and by crawling, I mean 'bollocks, where's all the power gone?'
Bloody vans gone into limp mode. Everything closed today as it's some religious observance day!
We're 300km from home, so probably run the gauntlet tomorrow.
Wondered why the van was a bit breathless coming over Col de Mont Cenis, thought it was just the altitude!

Re: Coming to the end of our Italian adventure
Did it give you an error message? My car went into limp mode recently saying the DPF was fubarred but all it needed was a bottle of cleaner tipped into the tank.
