My predictions.

Mav to win a GP (first to win on 3 makes)

It's COTA next, he always goes well on anti clockwise circuits.
I'd put money on some 24 bits appearing on a Gresini bike in the near future.........but just the one!

He's a generational talent is why. Anyone who can climb on the same bike as Brad Binder and Jack Miller and outscore them both in only his 2nd GP is worthy of note. He may look out of control, but so did some of the greats (Schwantz springs to mind), and most times he keeps it shiny side up.

What rookie has had a better start? The only comparable one is Marc Marquez that I can think of.

Yes, I couldn't help thinking it was a case of 'live by the sword, die by the sword'. It certainly robbed us of a spicy last few laps.

The coming together between Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia in the latter stages of Sunday's MotoGP race has been ruled as a racing incident with no penalties being handed to either rider. But that hasn't stopped both sides in the incident from blaming each other:

Both of them say it won't affect their relationship, but it's pretty clear that a marker has been laid down, from both sides. Neither of the riders was prepared to back down, so they both ended in the gravel. From my PoV calling it a racing incident is fair and accurate. I'm pretty sure that had roles been reversed, the outcome would have been exactly the same.
