A while back our local Indian staff spoke with a broad Scottish accent. Folk used to think they were taking the piss.

About 10 years ago a Greek mate of mine married a young Chinese lass, who's parents owned a restaurant.
It's Greek tradition that all guests bring some tradition food for the reception.
The in-laws brought loads of Chinese food as well.
What an amazing spread of food
And we all brought our own booze.
