My 1976 Goldwing had no fairing
Yes,I know the first versions were unfaired but they quickly started fitting fairings to them.They're the first Japanese bikes that I remember being faired.
I've just had a quick look on Wicki & Honda sold a faired Interstate model in 1980. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Gold_Wing
