Strikes me as another R7 type as a lower bhp engine in a posh frock.

I get they are supposedly cheaper to insure and allegedly more practical for everyday use and aimed at the younger, recently passed market but where is the fun in that. When my eldest passed his test both him and his best mate, who had also just passed test, rode the R7, 650Ninja and the CBR650 and both said "meh" as the power wasnt that much different to the Bandit 600's they learned on. Once they both tried "supersport" 600's then deals were done. My lad ended up with a 2020 636 which was the last ones they said they would make but Kawasaki have now started making again after a 4 year gap. His mate ended up on a Street Triple 765.

Both are very cautious riders but even they thought the newer bracket of 600's are a bit bland so i bet our level of experience would dismiss them completely

I'd never dismiss 95hp.

I've posted this many times: my best biking, lough out aloud, moment, was riding a Honda CG125, overtaking a Porche.

And three months on an MZ TS250 (with decent tyres) was a hoot.

It's how you twist the handle that makes a difference. My first 'big' bike had 37bhp.

Edit: youth of today, don't know how lucky, tut tut ... :D
Even bland can be a type of character
