I don't think they're any easier to nick, but they're probably easier to ride if you've never ridden a motorbike before. Twist and go and brakes like a pushbike so people are used to that. Smaller cc's generally so easier to handle? But even with the smaller cc's (well 125 and up) they're mostly quicker away from the traffic light GP than 99% of cars.
Places like London, are there more scooters than bikes? If so, the number of scooters stolen will be higher as well.

I'm sure I read that super scoots are in demand as better for 2 up/pushing stolen bikes by the scrote gangs

Scroates moved up to maxi scoots as they are twist n go still, so easy to ride, but also powerful enough to push nicked bikes along with.

The destructions sound a bit too complicated for thick scrotes

When LR took my car away, the recovery guy was telling me that the reason so many Land Rovers get stolen is not because they're any easier to steal than other keyless cars, its because they are in demand, apparently for Africa! He said all keyless cars are stupidly easy to steal, e.g Brand new £360k Rolls Royce...

You'd think that Rolls-Royce would design an anti theft system for a £360k car that doesn't involve the owner having to go and buy a £5 tin foil bag off eBay to stop it from being pinched in seconds.

For sure, and I'm in no way giving the car industry a free pass on having shoddy security, I mean what would it cost them to have a timer or proximity system in the key fob?

Newer Volvo fobs have that feature. After so long of no movement the fob stops transmitting.

I wonder how many modern Rollers actually get stolen though? You can't exactly drift around Stoke Newington in one without attracting attention. I suppose they could be nicked for export though. Funny how easy it is to get a thing that size out vs getting anything iffy in. It seems easier than getting the postal services to carry anything with batteries in.

I dislike big front wheels and the way they steer, so was looking forward to getting on this with its 15" rear and 17" front, but the semi off road tyres actually make it harder turn in than the AT! I suspect it'll be getting some Conti Trail Attacks soon!
