Add a full Termi exhaust @£2300 and it takes it to just over your £15k
The mark up on Termis is about 90%. No way i'd buy them.
Whilst I'd agree that Termi's are incredibly overpriced for what they are, the markup is NOWHERE NEAR 90%... Not a clue where you got that figure from!
I know people who work at local Ducati dealerships to me quite well, I know where they make their margins and whilst there's decent margin in a Termi exhaust compared to a new bike sale, it's in the region of 30-35% markup for the dealer, but they are expected to include the fitting for free in that price usually though too...
I used to live near Carnells in MK.
All the staff had Termis.
They said list price was about £800.
They paid about £250.
Supplier and manufacturer also made big profits.
Only about a fiver with of materials.

Aged yourself there mate!
Times have changed...
Nowhere near the profit margin in P&A today as there was in the 90's... For the retailers at least...
Manufacturer almost certainly still making good margin, but wholesaler and retailer margins have been squeezed massively.

Carnell's... Now there's a blast from the past!
I bet you can buy a Chinese copy set for a ton.
Same amount of material and work

I bet you can...
Material cost hasn't had a bearing on the cost of a finished product for decades though...
Also the chinese company copying it on the cheap won't be in the slightest concerned about development and homologation costs (there aren't any), intellectual property (Chinese law and culutre pretty much rewards plagiarism rather than chastising it) and just as if you were buying hooky goods off Del Boy down the market, there's no income tax or VAT, no money back and no guarantee...
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I popped into the bike shop today and saw the latest Dragster RC, but I wouldn't get that for £15k, they're over £20k now.
Krazy Horse had one on special offer for about £15K, but it's been sat in their showroom for about 3 years.
Given that my interpretation of this was that it was free money, I was going to suggest that I’d buy a new Ural sidecar outfit but I’ve found that I’d be about 10k short which I find pretty shocking.

My very frugal brother had one when he first got married, for reference he now has a diesel Enfield - we did think of disowning him
Probably spend about 3k on a 2nd hand bike with hard luggage then use the rest on a dirty few nights with a high class hooker and some white powder. My 3k bike will go as far as your 15k one.
A mate has two of them, apparently they're lovely to ride, but arses to maintain, amongst other things the engine has to come out to change the front sprocket and the bodywork is fragile and doesn't fit very well.
