I think Jorge's got a point, back in the day Metro 6R4's & the like were banned because they were to dangerous for Rally's,maybe bikes are getting to the same point? I get that MotoGP & F1 are prototype classes,but these days I don't watch MotoGP or F1.I'd rather watch a documentary on it with all the engineers trying to extract more performance & analysing what's gone right or wrong.
As a spectacle I find it boring,they've so much performance & travel so fast that for safety reasons the spectators are to far away from the action.I might as well sit at home,save my money & watch on the television.
I appreciate the,improved performance & better safety clothing,but fancy spoilers & carbon brakes don't hold much appeal to the average buyer.
