That's worse than Taipan's suggestion, his just shows a lack of taste, that thing shows a lack of intelligence

They are highly rated by journos and surprIsed everyone when released. Bloke at work has one and it does look better in the flesh, so to speak.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:50 pm That's worse than Taipan's suggestion, his just shows a lack of taste, that thing shows a lack of intelligence

Re: Suggest Possible Next Bikes for me
I've looked at them loads of times, and the looks just don't work for me, the tank is too wide.

Nope, don't need another mildly annoying Mitsubishi with creaky suspension that eats brake discs, next car is more probably going to be an Audi S5

Chop it in for one like supermofo's.

Your SuzukiLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 11:41 am This is probably not going to happen for years, but in the interest of talking about motorcycles, suggest a next motorcycle for me.
Requirements
It must pull smoothly from tick over, no low rev lumpiness for me
Comfortable, it needs to have a seat I can sit on for more than an hour, no high handlebars, no low handlebars, no scrunched up legs
Good pillion provision for an adult sized person
Sensible seat height, nothing over 32 inches
Ability to cruise at 90mph
Reasonable handling, but doesn't need to be super quick steering or anything
Traction Control - I'm surprised how much I like this on
my Suzuki
Good acceleration
At least 80bhp
No big fairings
What ever you suggest I reserve the right to dislike anything based on looks.

Pretty good description of Darrel, the owner of said bike, actuallyLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:27 pm It looks like something an attention seeking Judge Dread would ride

Re: Suggest Possible Next Bikes for me
It fails on comfort, the seat get's uncomfortable after an hour
Also it's only a matter of time before I get bored of it
This thread is only hypothetical, I doubt if I'll spend any money

I saw one a couple of weekends back and was surprised that it DID look better in real life.Taipan wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:58 pm They are highly rated by journos and surprIsed everyone when released. Bloke at work has one and it does look better in the flesh, so to speak.

Yet meets all except one of your requirements.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: Fri Jun 09, 2023 1:50 pm That's worse than Taipan's suggestion, his just shows a lack of taste, that thing shows a lack of intelligence
I had a test ride last year, super comfy, quick, nimble for an adventure bike (I assume I've not tried any others)

Why don't you personalise your Suzuki? You can post it in the Projects section & we can give you our opinion.
There's not much from Japan, unless you want something that looks transformer inspired.
Nothing from MV or Triumph appeal?
