Stand out was probably the wrong choice of phrase.

Race Reps are meant to be "loud" and advertise the brand/sponsor. They can be dialled up to 11 because they're meant to be an advert, conventional beauty standards don't apply.

I don't have a problem with bright bikes or anything per se, that MV just looks gash in those colours. All slapped together and gaudy. The Bostrom rep actually looks pretty good TBF, but only in the context of being a superbike rep. As a "normal" colur scheme it would look overblown and stupid.

I'm sure I've posted this before, but my mate had the Streetfighter as his company bike at Ducati and he said it was better than anything else he'd ever ridden, and he's an international level racer.

I thought it was so good that it was almost boring (if it wasn't for the insane power) and I read a couple of reports that also said it felt like it lacked something, but I think that's just because we couldn't ride it to the limits.
