She's decided she wants one. In fact she liked it so much she said if we hadn't just bought a kitchen, she'd have driven over and bought it tomorrow.
I reckon the kitchen may have saved you there matey- I rented one pretty much exactly like that (except it was blue) for 2 weeks In the US at the end of 2019 when my eldest boy came out of the army - he's a big American footie fan and we spent two weeks driving around the west coast states going to football and basketball games (and Laguna Seca :) ) and getting shitfaced etc- I reckon the car was probably only a few months old (it had under 5k miles on it when we picked it up), but it was a massive disappointment- the build quality was shocking with numerous rattles and bits that looked like they were either falling off or had just never really fitted right, and it felt so agricultural and unresponsive to drive.
And on the mountain passes we kept having to stop and let it cool down as the gearbox would go into limp mode after any form of spirited driving.

Looked and sounded dead cool, and I'd seriously thought about buying one at home before that trip, but have absolutely no desire to now.
Maybe we got a lemon, but I think it's more likely we didn't and they just really aren't that good compared to their German and Japanese peers.

Based on admittedly a small sample size, they get a big  from me

I know very little about that model, but Ford have a history of mating good engines to inadequate auto boxes and/or weak back axles. DAMHIKT

IIRC the Mustang on this side if the pond comes with a 3 litre ish motor, or the full fat 5 litre. My worry would be the 5 litre is just too much h for the rest of the drive train.

The 4 cylinder is probably a better engine, it's got have been designed in the last 50 years, unlike the V8.

310bhp, but it's a revvy yoke. Only a 2.3.

10 speed auto in the V8 I think?

Good for the motorway, 70mph is probably idling :D

Only on the 2018> facelift model.

The early 2018 and older cars have a six speed and only 410bhp rather than the 450 of the later car.

Whenever I see 'LC500' my thoughts turn to mid-80s Yamaha two strokes.

Carry on.

During the day you can hide amongst the working classes in your rep car and in the evening play it large on the World Wide Web talking about higher end cars and women - no one is going to know that you can't really afford the cars or PAWG girls that you haven't actually shagged
Keep up, he sold it ages ago, he's in a Pious at the moment.

Definitely try one. My brother drove to the south coast to test one as a replacement for his Audi S6. He got there and fell in love, to be fair it looked amazing. Blue with the white stripe and he's always wanted a Mustang for years. He's hired 3 old ones and hired an older new one in the states. However, he was really disappointed with the drive. In comparison to the Audi the handling was crap. He said it looked a million dollars and he expected lower rent finish inside but he said he knew every time he drove it he'd know he made the wrong decision as it handled so poorly. He reckoned his old XF-R handled better and was more fun.

It's a nice looking car. Sadly the town radger has one here which limits its appeal a little. The i8 is very tempting too, but I'm a bit put off by talk of the battery needing replacement and that isn't cheap.

The Banglamobile has indeed gone and we are a multi Pre-UHSS family now.

I could get an LS500. Or a few other options for that sort of money. The car I'd really like is a new shape NSX and I'd struggle to get one of those right now however.

As for the younger, PAWG'y, fancy-high-price-lawyer girl, we are regularly having taboo sex and might even get married this year.
