Re: Ignore
There was on TRC. That was interesting, as the one person who boasts about their ignore list the most, was found out to not really have that many (if any) people on ignore which he claimed he did....

Re: Ignore
What was good about TRC was you can see what post someone was reading almost straight away as they clicked on it. When someone said welcome to ignore nine times out of ten when the ignored person posts the ignorer is straight in their reading it. Only really used it twice. Once on TRC and once here and even then its more to do with the repetitive shite. Im way to nosey to use it more

Ah, Felix may not be on it, but unless I have my wires crossed, ISTR his TRC forerunner was- class move that, don't think he's ever twigged...

Re: Ignore
What one,1888 or Rolfe66. Dont think either were on it as i manage to get a rise easily enough. Bananaman was the only one on my list back then. There comes a point where you have seen a man in a hot tub one to many times.

I thought TRC became so unpleasant, I put the whole forum on ignore.

If you have someone on ignore and MrT comes along and quotes him then you put MrT on ignore. SimplesCount Steer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:37 pm I thought TRC became so unpleasant, I put the whole forum on ignore.

There wouldn't have been much left! The one thing I miss is my old avatar, kicking the can down the road. Tried to find it again but no joy.Felix wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 4:42 pmIf you have someone on ignore and MrT comes along and quotes him then you put MrT on ignore. Re: Ignore
Yeah, good old (or young I should really say ) Bananaman, that ( and his overanalyzing/theorizing of almost everything ) could get a bit much, bless him- I liked him though, and often wondered if it was the bang on the head ( that he almost never mentioned ) as I don't remember BananaBoy being so intense - I wonder how he's doing now ...
As for the list, It was defo 1888, don't remember Rolfe66 at all. I can't remember exactly what was said to cause it but I do remember chuckling at the time - I still haven't a clue what it is that's caused me to be on there from way back in the mists of time either

Re: Ignore
I joined VD as Rolfe66. Rolfe being my name and 66 from the song route 66 being on the radio at the time. I had to come up with a username fast I was only on VD a few month when you all jumped ship and then TRC for since day two. Think i ran with Rolfe66 for 5 years then left for a while and came back as 1888 a year or so later. You probably blocked me on a misunderstandingTricky wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 7:50 pm

I was talking about 1888 being on THE most oft-mentioned list- said list is maintained by our contributor that resides on the island of sunshine and cheap beer
