What bike was your fastest wheelie on ?

Done plenty of inadvertent wheelies - never tried to induce one, wouldn't know how to and not really bothered. I remember the TLs used to loft the front wheel for fun around Oulton, but the most satisfying one was on the 888 at Oulton. If I timed my gear change right the front wheel came up beautifully a bit before my braking marker for Lodge. Get it back down and get on the brakes for Lodge. Very satisfying.

You've got an LC, they're very easy to wheelie, you can use the shit forks to your advantage, ride along in first at about 6000rpm, close the throttle hard so the front end dives, as it bounces back up again (did to the lack of damping), crack the throttle open as it reaches the top of their travel, voila, instant crap wheelie.

Alternatively, do it properly and the clocks will smack you in the face it comes up so fast.

Yeah, I understand the basic mechanics of it, but dunno if I can really be arsed. I'm probably more likely to try it on the Duke 690 R, as I think it would be easier and I'm more confident of saving it on that bike if things go a bit Pete Tong. But it's not something I'm that bothered about TBH.

TBH me neither, I don't think I've deliberately wheelied a bike since 2005.

AR80 used to lift the front easily in 1st... at about 20 mph.
