Wouldn't mind a Tengai, but big singles have an inordinate premium over here, perhaps a hangover from the supermotard days.

Re: Decisions, decisions!
Had a Transalp for a week in Portugal when I ran a course out there for someone a few years back. Not particularly quick, as you'd expect although it got to 80-odd mph in reasonable time, but handled the appalling roads plus some dry untarmacked roads without drama. Comfortable, decent range, not too heavy, seat big enough for a passenger, and you should still be able to source spares.
The only -ve things are the tubed tyres on spoked wheels, and the fact that in the VT500 version the engine was a PITA to work on. One of the rear plugs is placed behind a frame tube.

I'd be enquiring about this XT660 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125662343814 ... R6rPsJ2jYQ
In fact if I didn't like my SV650 so much I'd be interested.
Or if your only doing 'gravel' & light off road buy a cheap SV650 & modify it.
