Boy George's opinion on Matt Hancock is an interesting one, he called him 'slimy and slippery'. Boy George has also been 'hating on' him and is struggling to view him as both a human being and a politician.
Yes, that's right, Boy George, the perverted predator who in 2009,was sentenced to 15 months in prison for attacking Norwegian model Audun Carlsen. Boy George who was convicted of assault and false imprisonment after being found guilty of handcuffing Carlsen to a radiator and beating him with a metal chain, struggles to view Matt as a human being.

Not defending BG, but I did find it interesting that Boy George didn't deny that to Scarlett, well he didn't deny the imprisonment, but denied the beating.
Boy Geroge wrote:“So when you beat someone up, the first thing the police do is take a photograph and they show them in court. There were no photos because I didn’t do that. But I did do one thing. I did handcuff him, yeah.
“Because I’d handcuffed the guy I’d already assaulted him. So, when I said ‘I did it’, I thought, I’ll tell the truth, they'll let me go home. I went to prison for four months. I was on tag for four months as well.”

I watch a load of that programme about Australian customs. I've seen them turn people away for having an assault charge that didn't involve a custodial sentence, yet BG does time and walks right in?
Australia tries to portray itself as some great nation when they're as dodgy as fuck.

I think they turn people away if they didn't declare it in advance? Presumably all the contestants need a visa of some sort anyway 'cause they're working/performing?
The programme's called "Nothing to Declare" after all

Well, on the basis that Hancock is doing all this to make his transition from politician to showbiz personality*, that's a given.
Not having a go, I'd have done exactly the same in his position.
*Not sure if that's as a serious political journo or just a 'telly face' to cream the money. Time will tell.

I think it's poetic how the public have gone from wanting Hancock crucified at dawn to loving him - because he's astute enough to realise how to play a popularity contest on a TV gameshow.
These viewers are actually allowed to vote governments in and out too
Makes you lose the will to live doesn't it, showing up the IQ's (or lack of) of the people that watch these programs!

I'm sure it's happened many times before but it does feel wrong that serving MPs can publicly get involved in this sort of chewing gum telly rubbish. I mean we all know they have, and are allowed, side-gigs but this just feels a step too far. Probably I'm just a massive snob and the likes of Hancock doing IAC is just the sort of thing that the masses, who have probably only ever seen him as part of some social media witch-hunt and meme, need to see that "I thought he was a massive cnut, but he's actually a good sport". Which is all that matters after all innit?
Ex MP Ed Balls was presenting ITV Breakfast Telly the other day. Or at least some moonfaced goon that looks like Balls was presenting. He was rubbish (they are -all- rubbish) and it appears all you need to do to be Susannah's sidekick is to be more terrible than she is. Apparently being on Strictly (and taking a proper dancer's job) is good enough to qualify you to take a proper journalist's job.

Apparently, the term for reinventing yourself through popular TV is called "Screenwashing"!

The wife watches IACGMOOH, Love Island etc. So I end up watching whilst browsing the web etc. It's mostly boring but I love it when there's a bitch fest and melt downs! I do think IACGMOOH has run its curse now though. Its all too matey for my liking.

Talking of *celebrities*... We have Celebrity Jeopardy where I have no clue who 95% of the people are & they get asked questions a 5yo could answer.
