Not complaining at all, It's quite good fun to watch. The racing, not the school disco.

They are racing at the highest level available to them.
Not having a second bow to their arrow for extra prize money and prestige.

It needs to be cheap, that Faye Ho ain't got two brass farthings to rub together.

A lot of good riders went through the cb500 class ,Casey Stoner being one .

Aprilia superteens produced some top riders too.

McWilliams is pushing 60 though, he's not a threat to up and coming riders. More like an oul lad having some craic.

Yup, they did the same with the K12R, why else would you make a one make series for a bike the length of a limousine? They weren't selling anything like the numbers needed to recoup the development costs of the transverse K's

How many seasons are BMW running this series?

The f900 series is contracted for a 3 year run.

According to Fagan although it's his name against the 44T entry, the three of them ( him Boothy and Chris) are taking turns at alternate rounds.

This is Fagan testing at Almeria- the 1:48(ish) that he's doing in that vid would win you Inters ( © @Couchy ) IMO and is decent fast group pace around there on a big bike, and there's a long and slightly uphill straight there so isn't hanging about on a 100hp naked - I think the bikes look and sound lovely and reckon this series should be an entertaining one - I'll be interested to see what new names emerge from it

Imagine Richard Cooper whining if a WSB rider dropped into National Superstock and made him look very silly.

Haslam and Toseland raced CB's but I thought Casey came through 125s.

Yeah I probably made it up in my head l, still,some good riders came through the CB 's .

They remind me of club racing - dull to watch, but if you're riding, brilliant fun.

Dunno. When I was racing, we used to watch the other proddy racers, to see if they were as daft as us

I used to race Desmo Due, the bikes were power capped at 65bhp.

I really enjoyed it, the wife used to stand and watch with all the other spectators, she'd report back how they always said how slow it looked like we were going. Felt pretty fast to me

One bloke who is going to get himself noticed is number 44 Harley Prebble ….. as well as having the 44 number the 44 teeth lot wanted he is also going to be racing in full Evel Knievel leathers and colours on the bike. That should get him some TV coverage
