For what it's worth, forgot to add that I rode a friends 2013 1200 Tiger Explorer for a couple of hours a couple of months ago...

What a lovely smooth engine!

But what an absolute tank of a bike though, with the worst brakes I have ever used...

Just makes the 22 bike even more of a disappointment though, cos in every respect it is soooooo much better than the older bike is, except for the fact it vibrates like a Kango hammer as soon as the revs are above about 4k!

Yeah that, its one of the reasons i didnt buy one and opted for a Multistrada instead after test riding both. The XR made my fingers tingle with the vibration (mainly the right handlebar) to the point it was annoying really quickly. The only other bike i have ridden that had the same thing was an SV1000 many years ago.

If the Triumph is as bad as the OP says then they are going to have to do something about it or there will be a lot of DISAPPOINTED owners :mrgreen:
