Asparagus the Elder effortlessly wins double hard bastard of the day award for (briefly) setting the outright lap record after having been given the flick at 115mph half an hour earlier.

Yep - quite unbelievable. I got carried away in the moment & thought he'd actually be on pole.mangocrazy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 7:19 pm Asparagus the Elder effortlessly wins double hard bastard of the day award for (briefly) setting the outright lap record after having been given the flick at 115mph half an hour earlier.

What happened to Sam Lowes. I only caught the last of the qualifying, and in French. There was a comment about Lowes, but I missed exactly what they were saying, just that there was a crash? In practice??

I wonder if Rins is looking at where the Hondas finished and feeling a shiver run down his spine. That bike hurts riders when pushed.
He'll not pull moves on the Honda like he did today on the Suzook.
Who'd have bet on that podium for the big race?

Absolutely - and although I did have a feeling Viñales might possibly going to scrape a podium I certainly didn't think he'd come close to winning it.

Had a Google, 41,000, down from 60,000+ last year and compared to 140,000+ sell out for the F1.
That can't be good.
