The best app for curvy roads is Kurviger - unfortunately, Android only. Scenic 2 does a pretty good job on iPhones and, I believe, uses the Kurviger engine to generate the routes.

Just had a look at the website, looks good!

Just did a route from my house to the seaside and it took a route I'd never have thought of.
