Do the advanced textiles let the piss out, while still keeping rainwater from getting in?

Asking for a friend.

Off my list aswel...I thought the dealer had to sort you out, replace, refund, whatever, then they take it up with manufacturers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Got the phone call this morning, testing proved they are faulty. My wet leg proved that.

Should be getting a new pair some time next week.

So after a long hot summer, we had a day or 2 of hard rain, got the laminated gear out as it was hammering it down, 16 miles in the rain, get to work and now the jackets leaking, not ideal, quick email to sports bike shop, they have sent me a returns label and will send it off for testing, hope its quicker than last time with the visor shop.

anyways can't be arsed with this, going to order this Scott over jacket

It's pretty shameful this far down the line and motorcycle gear is still plagued with leaks.

Where did it leak?

Sometimes the seams go, the tape glue goes bad and they leak like the sieve that they are.

Where did it leak?

Left forearm, and chest a little.
Going to order that Scott over jacket in a bit,
I can’t be arsed with sending something back and waiting if it happens again. Both have failed so I think it’s a good idea.
Just need a warm fleece as my jacket is summery as they come.

What a pain in the (wet) arse!

Also, it shows how Ride’s magazine tests have gone to the dogs

Like all tests most only last a week or so at best whilst they wear it for a bit and subject it to a hose pipe, whereas like you've found they only tend to fail after a few months. Bit like tyre reviews in mags rare give you a mileage guide as they change them long before they are finished.

Just got an email from DPD saying my sport bike shop order is being delivered today.
I’ve not ordered anything so can only assume it’s a replacement jacket. If it is that’s proper customer service.

But also if it is it will be going straight up for sale
