I think the reality is that there are risks on both sides and were it possible to do something face to face no one would have a problem, but doing this sort of thing over distance requires an element of trust and understandably there isn't any. I think if I want to sell it, I'm going to need to clear the finance. It'll make everything a lot more simple. Though keeping the crazy bike might just be the best thing to do!

When I had my first one, I spoke to a dealer about trading in and he said to wait as the 890 was coming and that would bump up prices for 2nd hand 790s. I'm not sure it did.

Not really... minor niggles which are mostly sorted or very simple. Incidentally, I had the Street on a PCP deal but I paid it off early at the beginning of last year so that I could sell it quick if I wanted to.

Trinity has had a fair few problems with hers,I don't know if that's common among owners. High jacking this thread for a little Street Triple TED Talk.
I've had a 2009 and a 2012 675 Streets with no issue, 64k and 45k miles respectively.
The 2019 765 RS I have now had it's clutch replaced under warranty at its 12k service (by Triumph) even though there wasn't anything wrong with the original. It slipped on the way home and I challenged it and they said it was because it was new but I now believe that was b******* as they probably didn't soak it properly first. Over the next 10k miles it slipped a couple of times and became noisy. I also noticed another strange noise/vibration when it was ticking over (the timing chain/cams).
Coming up to the 24k service I went to a different dealer, told them the history (though they would have had a record of it) and they put in another clutch under warranty.
After another 1000 miles it made a horrendous noise when I started it up hot - like it was going to break itself apart. I told the dealer and they replaced the timing chain adjuster. Then, it started to do it again (the noise) at the end of the Pembery trackday and I realised it was worse when the engine was hot - so on the way home I got it nice and hot and stopped right outside the dealers door and shouted "listen!". They agreed straight away that it was a major issue, took it in and replaced the cams under the warranty that had now run out. I believe the cams wouldn't have gone if they had changed the timing chain adjuster when I first complained about the noise.
I look after my bikes (excuse the downpipes), keep to the servicing schedule and change the oil and filter in between services.
I have a friend of a friend who bought a 765 for the track but couldn't afford the clutches so sold it.
Edit: I have another friend/mechanic who has the same bike and he said he changes the oil every time the clutch gets noisy. I said "even if that's every 2,000 miles?" and he said yes. So, maybe that's the trick - an oil change every 2k.

I've talked about this a lot and have asked several advanced riders if they think it's me/riding style. I don't think it is but I've always been open to feedback.
