Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
Doesn't seem to be an issue when it comes to selling 'em though. Which is ultimately why Brabus exist.
I dunno - I guess I just have to laugh when people say "I could build that myself for XXX". Of you pop then, best of luck to you (quite sincerely) but that's not what these suppliers are about is it?

I'm genuinely really not sure what your point is here, or who (if anyone ) you are disagreeing with, or trying to educate, albeit I do accept that the latter is typically a feature that almost always has to be in almost all of your postsMr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 3:38 pm Doesn't seem to be an issue when it comes to selling 'em though. I for one am not even the teeny-tiniest bit surprised that they all sold out in seconds, or in any doubt as to why Brabus exist.
My post was offering my opinion for anyone that was interested in reading it- that is that it is a shit styling job, I greatly prefer the look of the standard bike, and that I could make an SDR look even a lot nicer to me than they have if I wished to- I reckon you've got cross-threaded matey as I didn't see anyone saying "I could build that myself for XXX" in this one...

My point is just general amusement at the attitudes on here to most of these customs and the like. You grumpy cvnts make me laugh is all, in the best way.
Bike supplier (bit of a stretch here I know) makes a custom which sells out in 2 mins.

Everything I can't afford is shit.
If it wasn't shit and I wanted it, I'd have to admit I can't afford it.
Or something.
Did I mention I'm buying a Panigale when the mortgage is done.

KTM makes radical looking bikes, but that looks like its been "all blanded up"! It's normally the radical bikes that look a mess that offend, but that offends by being dumbed down!

Well, some of us have to be seen to be paragons of discernment and taste, but I'm afraid only chronological maturity can bestow than upon one.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 8:17 pm My point is just general amusement at the attitudes on here to most of these customs and the like. I was gonna say this forum isn't representative of the demographics of bikes as a whole. But I reckon in the UK it is

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
They could have just stuck a Brabus badge on it and not bothered with all the bolt-on stuff. They'd still have sold them in 2 minutes. Some people will pay silly money just for a badge. (Then keep it in an air conditioned storage unit and monitor the value).
Good for them if they've created a fashiony brand that liberates money from people that won't miss the cash. Lots of others are doing it. Missed a trick though, they could have saved money and done it as a NFT.

They should have made it more subtle, like this G Wagon.

See that's a Brabus.
I actually prefer this "KTM" to the KTM, but it doesn't shout Brabus to me.

Pb-evo are very different to this place. Most recently popular purchase is a Panigale v4s, there's loads.
Plus the Petronas FP1.
The KTM forum is all about the Gen3 1290.
This place is terms of biking is remarkably restrained.

Tricol is only 40, but then we've got people who are the best part of double that.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 9:37 pm There's only Dazzler and me under 50!

Give it 20 years and it won't be the internet that kills this forum, it'll just keel over and die on its own.
