99.9% sure it was Falcon. A lot of the 80% was a blur. This was 87/8 and they were down to the left of the in ramp at Waverly Station in a small office. It changed to a three letter named company not long after. Eagle came in as an outsider company to Glasgow at the time i worked for Falcon who had a fairly good grip on the business there as we had A-Z and Pony Express who were both franchised from London and brought up London riders to work in a city they didnt knew which amazed me. When i was there Falcon didnt have an office in Edinburgh and didnt use cars, just bikes and Bedford Rascal vans . My callsign was Falcon 35 and still got my old logo'ed Rukka jacket

I had an XS 250 in the mid 80's, bought it cheap of a mate who got stung by the 125 law change.
It had 2 attributes, shit cold starting. That was somewhat helped with electronic ignition.
Pro Steer, lay it into a bend and you could feel the frame take up the flex and tighten up. It would lean to a certain point in a bend and no more, I had to pull on the left bar and stop it standing up in left and right hander. The bike was virtually brand new and all the bits were checked to correct torque.
