Once it arrives i'll ping you.... get over here. Bring bike
The reverb is a non stealth. Doesn't need any holes on the frame, just tie wrap the hose to the frame...weeksy wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 7:06 am That dropper ain't going to fly then matey. Whilst i've seen people have drilled frames, it's certainly not something i'm comfortable doing to a bike. Hmmm and hmmmm and let me think of a plan and look at your frame a bit more.
Oh, that changes everything. LOL... I thought it was internal.millemille wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 8:05 amThe reverb is a non stealth. weeksy this post would have been the clue, you donut!!!!!millemille wrote: Fri May 22, 2020 9:32 am I've got a 30.9mm dia, 125mm drop, Rockshox Reverb (not the Stealth, so with the external hose routing) dropper post sitting around unused. It needs a service as it drops under load but if it's of any use it's yours for the cost of postage...

Given you'd not spotted the basics, has anyone checked that 30.9 is the correct diameter for the Giant frame?
SHould be seeing Crust this weekend to get my bleed kit from him. Once i get that i'll see if i can get the post 100% with some tips and tricks from the internet... If so... then i'll be good for Sunday... or anytime after that... If i can't get it 100%, then we'll have to discuss and see what options are out there.
Worst case, it'll either cost you £70 or £80 for us to send it off for a rebuild.Docca wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2020 10:09 pm Thanks mate. Here is hoping the skills smash it and its a winner![]()
Sure mate, we can do the tubeless stuff when you like.Docca wrote: Sat Jun 06, 2020 6:06 pm Really appreciate you trying mate. Much respect.
My priority now is tubeless tyres and tbh it was just a good reason to come and say hi. Shift efforts into the tubeless pot and ill park the dropper dilemma until next month?
