The DIY I don't mind so much. The politics I can do without.
Let drown out the politic threads with pictures of brown seated CX500 cafe racers!

Try writing better biking tipsLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 3:58 pm I can post more stuff about old bikes and old bike racing, but it never seems to get much interest and it feels like hard work for little return.
You buggers are all so old now, you know it all... unlike the days on VD when you were just young and knew it all.

I don't envy your role here, arguably more than my own actually. The Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Sat Dec 18, 2021 12:26 pmTry writing better biking tipsLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 3:58 pm I can post more stuff about old bikes and old bike racing, but it never seems to get much interest and it feels like hard work for little return.

The bike looks fun,but fix that front guard. Looks like it was installed by Stevie Wonder.

Re: JOY MACHINE: HONDA NX650 DOMINATOR MOTARD
I like the look of the Dominator, so specials have to be good, this one is ok but the seat ruins it, and if I was being picky then I'd have a bigger headlight. Overall though I like the concept, but if I wanted something like that I'd buy a Fantic Caballero, which is probably better all round.
As for the politics, if people post about stuff then I'll have an opinion on it, I don't think I've ever started a thread on politics and I wouldn't especially miss that section if it went, but if I can see something where I think people are wrong then I'll say something, hence why I post a lot in there.

Re: JOY MACHINE: HONDA NX650 DOMINATOR MOTARD
Are you bastards arguing? Has weeksy got a turd in his pocket?
Weeksy, you got so much banter on here because your pretty bloody relaxed, which I reckon is why people like it. You could always do what we did on the kato Foz and have areas for the banter, like Augie's crap pile and off subject area's.
Suppose it comes down to how many people have thick skin here. Which most do.
Back to the subject. And being a tired ex sm rider. I would like to see a little more seat on the dominator. All sumo guys like to wheelie and I could see myself sitting back on the tin bit trying to get p.o.b on that thing. Other than that, I'd ride it. Fark yeah. But I'd ride just about anything with tits or tyres.

Known as 10 second Tommy (which has nothing to do with drag racing)
Also 2 stroke Tommy (which has nothing to do with motorcycles)
