Top box Err very modern.
Looks like a Kawasaki badged latest box from Givi. Mounting plate looks identical to the Ducati Badged one on mine although mine is a slightly older model box
Enjoy the new missile

Mine went not long back. Wasn't a single sniff from anyone here. Pete at Bournemouth Kwak has it now.

First impressions today, went out locally it is with out doubt a lot quicker all round, than the 06, torque available from the get go. Lighter at the front seemingly white lines a bit but I also know it could do with a set of tyres so not particularly concerned the bars make it very comfy to ride though i dont think the sculpted seat is quite as comfy as the 06's Yoshi pipes not intrusive (it almost sounds standard) though it gets a bit rorty if you give it some. not that it was really a good surface for going for it this afternoon so discretion etc It goes just as mental if you give it a big handful wheelies Im sure, it will on request haven't tried the power modes its just on Full, and traction control off at the minute no cruise or anything like that this being the ABS model
All in all very pleased with it, it just builds on the attachment I'd built up on the 06 here it isVV I guess the top box makes it a little more wobbly at the front too.

I still have the bracket and Kawasaki top box here that was in mine.
Seriously.
Ditch and ditch it now.
It absolutely ruins the front handling, making it very, very twitchy on the front end.
It’ll badly weave above 70-80 to the point of shaking the bars.
I want sure at first but did a run to the gf’s at the time and back.
Took it off the following day and did same run.
Straight back to perfect linear handling, long and low which this later 2014+ is known for.
The top box is honestly not worth the risk unless your just riding about shopping. Even just the rack above 70 makes the front very nervous

Im inclined to agree even after this very short time with it.

I persevered for quite a while playing with the rear preload, sorting front etc but the simple act of removing first the box and then the whole plate and bracket too on the identical run in identical weather, 24hrs apart showed it.
I just used the Bags Connection Cargobag from the 10R on it afterwards and it didn’t notice it was there at the other side of 150

It’s a mare.
Seat off, rear plastics off or very tight space to access.
IIRC it’s 13mm bolts.

No wonder a 5mm hex bolt heads not up to it! Made of cheese

New boots on the ZZR today PILOT ROAD 5's quite pricy but they have transformed the front which once off looked in profile like a 50 pence piece no wonder I was having to wrestle it out of corners. Like getting a new chain its a very satisfying spend because it feels so much better and it transforms the handling. they are expensive though at 300 ish for the pair fitted. NB top box and bracketry all gone now

Same as i've got on the MT07 and yes i like them too. Best thing i can say is, even from brand new, i never gave them a seconds thought when riding the bike. £300 seems a lot, but i do think we as bikers are caught up in history lol. Remebering the days when they cost half that. (and i'm sure a LOT less for some old buggers). Even MTB tyres are £80 a pop now, so you can see why a pair of big boys motorbike tyres are more.

I like the PR5's and to be fair the 4's and 3's before them. Plenty of grip, feel and last well. I doubt I'll get anywhere near the mileage I was getting out of the 690 on the 1000 though!

I remember paying £300 for a pair of tyres for my R1 22 years ago, and that was every 2000 miles, £300 for a pair of superbike tyres sounds pretty reasonable to me.
