It’s actually mint snd that is ACF that you can see!

Stripped it down ad fitted the new stator today and it’s now charging. I had to remove the water pump to do this but I got new seals and do far it doesn’t seem to be leaking?

I can’t really run it though as the 12v coming out of the stator has the wrong plug on. For the life of me I can’t get the other plug off! I cannot release the wires?? I’ve had enough for one day so will go back to it tomorrow.

I was also able to replace the transmission air Filter that everyone forgets to do!

Oh and more oil came out of the side casing than I expected and I didn't have enough cardboard down. My wife came out said, "FGS you've got oil all over the decking"! I replied, "Preservative my Love, preservative"...

A transmission filter.....do I have one on my LE?

Lob it off, twist the wires together and tape them up. Job jobbed.

Nah, ordered a box of connectors.

Not wishing to urinate on your French fries but I'd chose a more substantial connector than those or hardwire it. A lot of stator/ regrec failures come from poor electrical connections.
